FIRST EXHIBITIONS A SUCCESS
The 8th edition of the AAET exhibitions came to a successful conclusion
last week with the final exhibitions in Tehran and Tripoli.
All the exhibitions were an overwhelming success with over 3000 Middle
Eastern students enjoying a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn about
life and education in Australia.
With the leading universities and educational institutions from across
Australia represented at the exhibitions, it’s great to have received more
than 100 applications already.
The exhibitions would not have been such a success without the tireless
work and support of the AAET staff as well as the delegates of our partner
institutions that joined us.
A big thankyou to everyone involved!
The winner of the $3000 English scholarship will be announced in
next week’s newsletter so stay tuned!
HAVE YOUR OPINIONS HEARD
Beibei Chiou is an international research student doing her research
thesis on Australian immigration policy and it’s effect on international
students.
She is a student at Auckland University and would like to interview a few
students (over the phone is fine) for a few minutes and hear their thoughts
on any issues that they face in this area.
This is a great opportunity to not only help out a fellow student but to also
express your thoughts and opinions on this rather sensitive topic.
If you would like to be involved please email your mobile phone number to
james@aaet.com.au and Beibei will give you a call.
AAET likes to support all our students and if you require support
from the wider student body, such as Beibei, we’re happy to help
out!
